CRiSTAL constantly enhances its WMS and various solutions to keep in pace with clients' requirement. The enhancements are released to clients as part of its maintenance supports agreement.

Orders pickings are getting more time consuming as DCs are
required to fulfill ever smaller orders due to the advent of
eCommerce.
Wave (or batch) picking is a highly productivity operation when
there is a high commonality of items in a number of orders.
With decreasing order size, wave picking is losing its key
purpose ande benefits.
On the other hand, dicrete or single orders picking is good
with small order that have little item commonality among.
However, it is time consuming and tedious, resulting in
lower productivity.
Automation can provides solution but it is typically expensive
and difficult to justify unless you are a Amazon. Small to
medium warehousing operation just unable to afford.
With the scenario above in mind, CRiSTAL WMS (warehouse
management system) design and build a hybrid batch pick
function which facilitate pickers to pick multiple order in
a single pass through the warehouse.
This operation can further be enhanced by facilitate it with
the picking carts with a tablet and USB scanner which will
greatly increase pick accurancy. This will also allow the
picker to perform a pick and pack operation at the same time
- eliminating the need for packing stations.
The function is designed to enable picking of up to 16
orders in one pass. It is flexible to pick less orders if so
needed. Higher numbers of orders pick can easy be
incorporated if so required.

juzWMS incorporate random location storage management which enables small warehouses to better utilize their limited storage locations available.
